Sarah E. Gibbons has a B.A in photography and art history from Lycoming College and a M.F.A. in photography from Savannah College of Art and Design.
Having an interest in photography from an early age, Sarah’s work explores the construct of personal identity in relation to gender, place and family.
Professional experiences include head of the printing department for a SoHo retouching studio, assistant teaching and guest lecturer, and Custom Lab Technician for the Maine Media Workshops. Sarah is currently a photography instructor at The Art Institute of Raleigh-Durham in Durham, NC.
